Like a 1960's rec room, this hole in the wall The Gem is truly one of Toronto's best hidden spots. The cozy atmosphere here is unbeatable, and in the summer they have a semi-secluded outdoor patio. This is a jukebox and Elvis bust kind of joint, they play some pretty neat records and there is sometimes a live band. The crowd is sort of hipster 30s, with no rowdies.
