Easy to find. Good pavement. Easy to level. Lots of tents, trailers and 5th wheels. On a Sunday night in late July the place was packed but still had lots of empty spots as the facility is huge.

I travelled here with a 35’ 5th wheel, long bed pickup and parked in the Fish Creek B Loop, site #74, an E only (50A), BI site for $250/night Canadian ($22/night US) plus $10 reservation fee. Navigation was easy on the asphalt roads and into the gravel site. There was some slope side-to-side and required 2 boards to get me level. The site was right next to the bathhouse and playground. The bathhouse was very nice except that there were no benches in the showers so you had to hope your stuff on the floor didn’t get wet. The playground was noisy during the day but quieted down after 6:00. The firewood was free! Loved that. The site is large and had lots of bushes and partial shade which made it very comfortable. There are several social paths through the trees which my cat kept wanting to explore making things interesting. Most of the sites looked like they would accommodate larger rigs. However, most of the prime spots along the lake had significant slope to them. The best sites for larger rigs with electric connections in my opinion near the water are: B Loop - 90, 221, 288, 290, 298; L loop – 20 through 25; and sites 289 – 295 had lake views through the trees with less slope. It was a very nice campground and seemed like a great place for families and water sports. It is a distance to a big grocery store so come prepared. It was very quiet after 10 pm. Connectivity: 2 bars LTE with Verizon International Plan, 0-20 mbps download speeds so no streaming, didn’t check for OTA channels, no wifi. The cell towers must have gotten loaded on the weekends cause service really slowed down making it hard to just open email. During the week it was better.
