Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on March 27, 2020We stayed 4 nights in mid September 2019. The park was uncrowded and we had no neighbors nearby until the weekend. Sites were nicely spaced and had some privacy. There is no water view from the campground, but we could occasionally hear the sea lions on the shore.
This campground was close to many of the historical sites, waterfront and trails. There is no water view from the campground, but we could occasionally hear the sea lions on the shore. We liked being able to to ride to the light house at the tip of the park (hilly!) and hike the trails to the other side (Cap Bon Ami) of the peninsula.
Staff were cheerful and helpful. Our site was spacious and easy to access.
The park was spectacular. Four days was not really enough to take in all we would have wished, even with many facilities closed for the season. There is so much to see and learn here. The town of Gaspe was easy to get to and offered restaurants and all the usual services.

We were camped in Sept 2020. Fabulous spot with 30amps. Misty evenings n mornings gave this place a romantic aura. Cap Gaspe is abt 2 miles away + 1hr hike, Cap Bon Ami on North side of park abt 3 miles.
This is also the start / terminal of Appalachian Trail.
Site is very nice completely private with drinking water taps every 100 yards or so. Clean Toilets n showers with hot water all free,
The camp is in National Park so entrance fee of $9 cad on top of camping fee. City of Gaspe is 25 min away with all cafes restaurants and wine + grocery. Nature lovers will find lots interesting. No cell range in park.
