Camping du Village

Mostly seasonal campground but with space for smaller transient vans and travel trailers at the top of the hill. Those campsites are tight together but offer electricity. Water and sewer are located in the campground in at least 2 different locations. Bathroom/shower buildings in the campground - the showers in the building at the top of the hill are much better than the ones halfway up the hill.

I arrived on a busy day with no reservation and at first I was told there was no room. However, I said I didn't need electric and was then offered a site in a tenting area - very pretty backing onto a forest at the top of the hill with beautiful views over the bay. Site was basically shared with another camper but fortunately they were great! My site was super not level and lumpy so I spent about 30 minutes getting level.

Price quoted was $35 but of course with tax it came to $40. Staff were super friendly especially Etienne who helped guide me to my site.

No Rogers coverage at all in Gaspesie so my AT&T did not work either as it roams on Rogers. I can't speak for the other carriers.
