Port Hope Beach and Marina

Adjacent to the harbour, the east beach provides a sandy shoreline, pleasant swimming, a playground and picnic area. This is a popular place for families during the hot summer months. The municipal marina, located in the river east of the yacht club basin, monitors VHF channel 70 from about 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily. There is space for fifteen transient boats, both power and sail on a concrete wall in 6 to 8 feet of water and 30 amp power, washrooms, showers, ice, gas and diesel fuel, a telephone, launch ramp, picnic area, and a bait and tackle shop.
