Pine River Cheese

Take a tour of the factory then visit the museum and retail store for all varieties of Pine River cheese as well as gourmet gift basket items. Pine River Cheese has artifacts from early cheesemaking. They have partnered with the Bruce County Museum to have these artifacts on site as part of their tour. Pine River Cheese was created back in 1885 on the banks of the Pine River, near the shores of Lake Huron in Ontario. Over the decades it has evolved from a farmer-owned co-operative with a focus on quality cheese into...a much larger farmer-owned co-operative with a focus on quality cheese.
