Cabot Beach Provincial Park locatec on Prince Edward Island's North Shore was our best camping on PEI!
Although we camped 5 nights here in our 20' Airstream with full hookups and really enjoyed the luxury of full utilities ( not our typical ), highly recommend 2-way or unserviced sites for larger and more private sites.
The campground was beautiful with manicured lawn and mature trees, very large day use area with ocean beach with lifeguard services, small laundromat, playground, kitchen shelter and dumping station. Park office sold ice. Pets permitted on leash including on the beach and water!
Another plus for this location, if a great restaurant within a very short walk from the campground featuring local seafood. Although oysters are their speciality ( we don't like them), the mussels are by far the best we have ever eaten. Small restaurant recommends reservations but also have fresh seafood store onsite with excellent fresh seafood. Recommend stocking up on groceries prior to arrival because you might want to never leave once you arrive!

We’d give it 3.5 stars if we could. It had beautiful views, friendly staff, reasonable ice, wood and WiFi prices (1 free device, additional device $2/day). Facilities were functional but need renovation (really rough shower heads but flush toilets). During our visit mosquitos were intense and the winds were high. Made it difficult to sit outside and enjoy the sunset. If tent camping, be sure to guy your tent out appropriately as winds can be gusty. Seems a great place to camp with protection (ie RV). Beach access but we didn’t explore.
