Roads are gravel and big rig friendly, sites are level, grass, with lots of grass around. We didn’t have any trees in our area, but there are some around the seasonal sites. We had 30amp, full hookups, but our friends had problems with their electric hookup. The system in their RV didn’t like the power fluctuations and wouldn’t allow them to run much. The owners sent an electrician, who fixed the initial problem and gave them $20, but there was a bigger issue that had to do with sharing power with with multiple sites. That was by design and didn’t get resolved. We didn’t have that issue.
There is a race track adjacent to the park, but it rained while we were there and they didn’t race.
Our AT&T unlimited plus plan had good coverage.
There is a lot of space between sites and lots of green space around. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Great location for exploring north coast, with plenty of charming villages and great dining and music nearby. The two owners are very nice and a cornucopia of information about the area; Campground is clean; has a pool and EXCELLENT WIFI!!!! Needed to add two pads to level side to side. Large open space in the center. Many seasonal trailers, but not a problem where we were placed.

This is a owner run campground. Perhaps the best asset here are the owners. They are very friendly and helpful. The campground itself is a mix of seasonal and traveling visitors. Stay long enough to get to know the seasonal folks. There are great for conversation and a source for quality local information. Our site (37) was spacious at the far end of the open field. Leveling was a bit of a challenge and were were a bit high at the front. Our other issue was, as previous reports, low power at the pedestal. The campground is older with older infrastructure. We operated what ever we could on propane and made use of our fans. The other factor here can be the race track next door. The noise is noticeable when cars are running. None of this took away from our stay here. We were wishing easy access to larger grocery stores in Charlottetown, while also have local places just down the road. Cavendish and the National Park are close by, as are some of the best beaches on the island. Rustico has some of the best eats that you will find anywhere. We would defiantly consider visiting this park again, taking advantage of all of the character it’s has to offer.

The campground is about 1/2 seasonal campers and 1/2 transient campers. Normally, to me, this isn’t a plus. But in this campground it is. The owners and the other campers were friendly and informative. We would have missed this great local vibe if we had gone somewhere else. The sites were large enough and well maintained. There is a bathhouse (never used), a playground, heated pool and laundry. All are cleaned and well kept. I was able to work and stream with there wi-fi which was fabulous since we are from the states and my normal methods were going to be expensive! My biggest recommendation is to grocery shop before you get to the campground. The area is rural and other than a ESSO and a great country market options are limited.
