First time camping here. Smaller sites, but was able to fit 23' trailer, pick-up and friends' car. Electric and water readily to hand. WiFi only near the office. Nice shady spots, very quiet. Enjoy the easy access to the 417 highway taking you right into the heart of Ottawa (20 minutes away). No problem with cell service here, as it's almost like being right in town (with lots of nice greenery).

25' Travel Trailer: Easy back-in to the large site. Stayed a month in August 2018 getting ready to go full timing. The campground is very easy to get to being just off the 417 highway. Close to Ottawa to go back and forth - access to bus transitway within 5 minutes drive, and all the shops you may need within a 10 minute drive. Water and electric hookup with dump station. Washrooms clean but outdated. WiFi did not work at our site - had to walk to the open area near the restrooms. Our site was private and wooded. The mosquitos were horrendous most days which is unusual for August in Ottawa. Laundry facilities adequate and the office provided coins when needed as well as a small store with the basics. There is a nice playground for the kiddies and some interprative outings offerred. Bike trails nearby for the enthusiast who wants to bike into the city.

he park was easy to find. It is located about a 20 minute drive from the Parliament Buildings. There is pavement all the way until you reach the park. The interior roads are graveled and in good condition. Signage is adequate. Check in was efficient and friendly. The rules are fairly basic.

Our site, 3B12, was a back in that was plenty long enough for our Coach and Towed. Services (30 amp, and water only) were to the left side. Distancing is good for a rural park. Most sites had a vegetation privacy barrier. Each site has a table and a fire pit. Our site was flat and even. Overall the park was quiet and pleasant.

There is park included wifi but you needed to be near a hot spot. We were not thus we relied on our own. There is NO cable TV but we did find a few OTA TV. Satellite might be difficult because of the trees if you don’t have a portable dish. We did not use the washrooms or showers but we checked and found them to be very dated but clean.

There is a playground for children but no other activities in the park.

There are no restaurants or stores within easy walking distance but just a short drive away you can find food, shopping and convenience stores. We found this park to be a great place to use as a base visiting Ottawa. We paid $60.00 per night and we feel we received fair value. We will be back if in the area.

This is a nice camping location within a 15 minute drive to Ottawa. We enjoyed our camping spot tucked into a wooded section near the pod washroom. The site had electric/water. There is a dump station for sewage but no site drain. The laundry was situated close to the administration building. Unfortunately for us, the laundry was closed for maintenance starting on our 2nd day of a 4 day stay. The washrooms had 1 shower which created quite a line in both men and ladies in the mornings starting about 7:30. The washrooms were functional and the shower water was warm on brisk fall days. There is no longer a dog run so we took long walks with the dogs on leash. There is a nice playground for the children. The camp also offers cabins for rent. The camp store was minimal and what they had for sale seemed dated.
