Coldwell Peninsula contains some of the most breathtaking scenic views along Lake Superior and includes the abandoned town of Coldwell. This area was made famous by Canadian painter and "Group of Seven" member Lawren Harris and his work, "Coldwell Bay, North of Lake Superior."
