Beautiful campground, clean bathrooms. The shower water is hot, consistent, and roomy. There's a hair dryer in the bathroom, and a large mirror. There's a swimming pool. If you pay for water/electric tent site, there's a light switch that lights up the sand tent pad, allowing you to set up in the dark if you need to.
KOA’s are typically a safe bet, especially near a bigger city. This one goes above and beyond.
Check in was easy and they escort you to your spot. Getting into our site, which was a pull thru, was very easy and the site was level. Hookups were convenient and worked fine. WIFI was available and while they don’t guarantee great signal, we had a decent signal most of the time.
There are all kinds of amenities, pool, trike rentals and mini golf are just a few. We didn’t use the washrooms, so I can’t speak to the cleanliness, but everything else was spotless. If you have dogs there is a Klub K9, a dog run area and an agility course. There is a high power car and RV wash, for an additional fee.
Our site was nice, but we didn’t have a ton of living space and trees blocked our satellite. There were others that had more room to spread out. If you want to splurge, the premium patio sites were super nice, with a full size gas grill, table with umbrella and a swing.
This is one of the nicest KOA’s we’ve stayed at and we would definitely stay here again if in the area.

This was our first experience with a KOA, so I am not sure what I was expecting. The owners and staff were great, the site was good although our stairs were pretty much in a dried mud area due to the location of where you need to park your RV. We couldn't put out a mat under the stairs as this was technically "grass" and so that wasn't allowed.
If you have kids and/or dogs, this would be a great spot to stay! As we have neither, it was a somewhat underwhelming experience. The laundry area was excellent, but that shouldn't be the highlight of a two night stay!
The sites were definitely big compared to the Provincial Parks we have stayed at lately and having 50 amp service was also nice.
No issues staying here again if it is a one night stopover.
WiFi was available, but campground slow. 2 bars of Bell cell coverage.

Tried to check in after a long night of driving at 11:30. Went to see what sites were available the night check in box. As I walked away with an envelope to fill out after choosing a site the owner/mgr pops his head out of the 2nd floor window and suggested I just call him to complete the registration quicker. I pulled into the first available site in the group of open sites and called the host to start giving my info while I walked around to check it out. It was a pull through and yhr electric box was out on the camp drive too far for my onboard cord. We’re on a 24’ Rv and would have to park away from the picnic TA kr and fire ring do I looked at a scalper site across the drive which looked better. I informed the Jody that I’d like to register for that site and he said he didn’t want me to change sites and Judy back up. I said I preferred the other and he complained that he got up to do this for me and o corrected him thst I was happy completing the night check in envelope before he volunteered to help and suggest I call him. I said I have 3 kids on board and certainly don’t want to fight for a more appropriate site. He asked if I still want to go through with the registration which to me sounded like he didn’t so I said I can finish the envelope if he wants to go back yo his evening. A woman in the background began to yell something and then he said I need to leave his campground and stay at a Walmart instead. He said he’d call the police if I didn’t. I’ve stayed at many KOAs before but I’d have to say I’ll think twice about them in the future and definitely didn’t experience the hospitality I expected from this one in Sault Ste Marie.

• My site was not quite level, but easy to get level.
• My RV (26’) and toad fit with about 2 feet to spare.
• Site had power (50 / 30 amp), water and a picnic table.
• Staff was excellent.
• Their WIFI is hit and miss, used my Rogers Hot Spot and it worked great.
• Decent cable TV.
• Showers have good pressure, and lots of hot water.
• They have RV wash station on site.
• There was not enough space in my site to connect my toad after my stay, had to pull out onto the main road to connect the car.
