Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on June 29, 2023We.stayed at this campground while we visited Parry Sound, home of the greatest hockey player ever: Bobby Orr!
Our site had 30 amp power and water.
The customer service by the Campground Hosts was outstanding. Thank you, Tristan!!! There was an issue with the power at our first site and he came right away to address the problem. When it couldn't be resolved, they moved us to another campsite where the power worked great!
Also, we had paid extra for the first site as it was more remote and private. When they moved us to a regular site, they issued us a credit for the difference.
The campground was pretty quiet. We could hear the highway and the trains but it wasn't too loud.
The WIFI signal was weak at the remote site but fine at the regular site.
The showers and bathrooms were OK. Pretty rustic but clean. They're located in the main building near the entrance so it's kind of a hike from most of the campsites.

Very friendly staff. Wider than the typical KOA site. Train near by but we never heard it at night. 10 minutes to downtown Parry Sound. All the services you might need there. Bring your kayaks. Rankin Lake is perfect. Laundry room has 3 working washers and dryers. Older but functional. 2 Loonies to wash. 3 to dry. Small dog park. Good for bigger dogs. There were several places where our small dogs could escape. Cell service and internet is spotty.

Staff very friendly and accomodating. $40 for unpowered tent site, large and flat. Sites were relatively private, and despite lacking trails nearby, walking to the lake across the road was beautiful
