Toma La

Toma La “The Portuguese Pit Stop” is a small fast paced BBQ style restaurant. For those of you that are curious, the name "Toma La" means "Here You Go" in English. Any of my family/friends know that my husband is known for his "Toma La" slang word, So I figured I would incorporate that into the business name, and "The Portuguese Pit Stop" is for our non-portuguese clientele. Our goal is to bring a little bit of Portugal and it's traditions to the cultured people of Hamilton. When you walk in our doors you will be overcome by the sights, sounds, smells, and tastes of Portugal. All of our meat will be grilled to perfection on a natural open fire charcoal pit while you wait. It will be served on either fresh portuguese bread from a local bakery or on a dish with your choice of a side. You will be able to customize your sandwich with whichever toppings you would like.
