“a historical canadian resort”
From a house originally owned by European settlers that built a small building on the property in 1796 our house developed. This small house is now our kitchen. The house was sold to a family from Pennsylvania a while after known as the Miller family. Since that time there was a widow`s walk above the attic, which burned down around a century ago. The house has been developed and reconstructed to maintain the look from over 200 years ago. Today it stands as a home to the hosts of Campark Resorts, the Van Kleef family. Bullets have been pulled from the antique walls of the original house section, the kitchen, that were found to be from the War of 1812, the Battle of Lundy`s Lane, now the main street of attractions in the Falls. The property was originally a farm, and was developed into a family campground by the Van Kleefs. Today the original house and barn stand strong.

Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on August 24, 2018This was a very large park with some nice amenities. Our site was near the back and backed up to Lundy's Lane, but was still fairly quiet. Everything was pretty well-maintained at this location.

We had a tiny back in site with 30 amp and sewer. Sites are lined up and packed in as tight as possible. We found trash in our fire pit, a piece of concrete and a board as the sewer cover. The bathhouse was moderately clean. Campground has quiet hours which were violated every night by the campgrounds own activities of night time movies and karoke. Website advertised shuttle to falls which is the community/tourism shuttle that was costly. You are also at the last stop on the shuttle line so you will stop every couple blocks to and from the falls. Wifi didn't work. There is a small mini-golf course for $4 and a pool.
We would try another campground if in the area again. There wasn't anything to make us return here.

We stayed here in May 2017. The lot sizes are fair considering the resort is located within minutes of Niagara Falls. Close by are the the factory outlets for folks who like to shop.
The resort is very family oriented, lots of activities for the kids and adults alike. They have an all day restaurant during the peak season.
They offer Good Sam discounts as well as discounts for return campers.
