Yes, the location is attractive, but these guys think they are the only game in town and charge accordingly. Beware! It’s a dumpy, unkept and tight park. They will charge you $63/CAD and then, if you want to use a credit card to pay, you will be charged an additional $10/CAD. They do have gas and diesel, but you will pay about $.15/L more than the little place at the junction. They only offer WiFi at a “hotspot” by the bathrooms. We asked how much it would cost to dump our tanks and get fresh water and we were quoted $30!! We had felt reluctant to head to Watson Lake, but are so glad we did! There is cell service, there is a free dump station at the Wye Lake park. You can fill up your water tank for free at the “A Nicer Hotel”. We also had our propane tanks filled by the very courteous young man at the store. You can drop in the awesome visitor center, free hot showers!, and get local recommendations and a treasure trove of pamphlets, maps and guides, along with free WiFi. We chose to stay at the Watson Lake Government Camp. It’s gorgeous, no hookups, free firewood and large private sites. $20/night and there’s a cell signal! There are also a couple of RV parks in Watson Lake and cheaper fuel! It’s totally worth the 10 minute drive east!

This place was a bit rustic and, yes, they do charge extra for credit card. We chose to pay $55 US since we had limited Canadian funds left. The site was plenty big and quiet with room between us and our neighbor. The have a dump and an RV Wash. The convenience of not going on to Watson Lake plus having a confirmed site made it our choice, No cell service. No wi-fi at your site but, supposedly, there was wi-fi in specific locations. We didn’t try it.

This is the only place coming off of the Cassiar Hwy without going backwards to Watson Lake. Site 6 was semi level, gravel with electric and water. We we told would be internet and cable but don't expect that. Little bit of internet if you stand at the laundry room with the mosquitoes. No cable at all. $65 CAD but $55 US so that's a rip off with the exchange rate and only cash accepted. We stayed here 4 yrs ago and it was much better then not so much now. We wouldn't stay here again.
