Whale Cove Campground

Camped in a 35” motorhome. We are self-contained so cannot comment on restrooms/shower facilities. Water and Electric only. Very laid back campground – location is great to explore the area
Pros –
- Location was great for us – short distance to explore the islands
- Manager was cordial; laid back campground
Cons –
- Water and electric only – dump station on site
- You pick a site – after 2 tries in very unlevel sites we found one that we could actually get level on.
- Laundry room was very dirty – tried to clean it as much as I could so I could use it.

Tina and her staff were amazing and welcoming and told me about some of the hidden gems to explore. The open RV sites are easy to back into and have water and electricity. Easy access dump station for on the way out. They're located close to all the things you want to explore on Digby Neck and even getting to Brier Island to explore all the lighthouses and beaches was easy peasy.

They also have so many other options to stay in if you don't have an RV. Rooms in the Inn, rentable RVs on site, very beautiful private tent sites for tenters and you can even rent-a-tent if you need as well. If you're a bigger family and need more room they have a furnished 4 bedroom cottage as well.

Definitely want to go back again as the weather cut short some of my exploring days and there's so much around that area to experience.

Can see ocean from our site, there is a trail to hike to the ocean. Nice people.
