“excellent opportunities for camping and hiking”
Rising majestically from the shores of the Minas Basin, Blomidon Provincial Park is renowned for its spectacular views. Blomidon's 759 ha (1,875 acres) include 180 m (600 ft.) high cliffs, a variety of habitats, striking natural features, abundant wildlife -- and the world's highest tides wash its shores. These natural attractions provide excellent opportunities for camping, hiking, beachcombing, photography or just appreciating nature. Blomidon offers a 70-site campground with both woodland and open sites, two picnic areas, an unsupervised beach near the park entrance, and hiking trails. A group campsite, with kitchen shelter and fire grills, is available by reservation only.

Really beautiful driving the back roads from Truro
Nice park with both wooded and open sites. We preferred the open sites and views. We stayed in both 74 (great view, a little tricky to level) and 1 (biggest site ever, seriously ). Close to the Cape Split trail and up the hill from wine tasting. Decent dump station, did not use the facilities. Also, cheap ice and wood.

We have views of the ocean, are on the highest ground, hot showers a 2 minute walk away... this site is THE BEST campsite I've been to on my trip around Nova Scotia... site 74 in Blomindon Provincial Park. Dumpsite nearby, potable water, restrooms.... it's perfect!
