Lake Breeze Campground & Cottages

This spot was fine, about 20 minutes from Yarmouth where you can catch the 5 1/2 hr. ferry to Portland ME. Bathrooms were rustic but clean, and our site next to the lake was level. Sites are close together, but fine for an overnight. WiFi didn't work for us.

The location is good relative to the ferry. The sites are level and several are Lakefront or lake View. But they are very close without any attempt at privacy. The bath house Is clean but could use a paint job. Overall all It felt put together with leftovers. The camp had everything you need, but of a very average quality.

We travel and work from our motorhome two days a week. We always make sure when we call a location that they have adequate cellular and Internet connections. We checked into this campground, intending to stay for a week. We were told cell coverage was good, and that they had Internet. Our site was very close to the office with a nice view. We left after two days because of lack of services. There was absolutely zero Internet, the office said that we could bring a cell phone to their office connect to the WiFi net work and walk back to our site and it might stay connected. We spoke to seasonals, who told us they have complained about the lack of Internet and management won’t fix it.

We could not rely on cellular coverage for Internet, because we barely had one Verizon bar. Getting online was almost an impossibility and this was in October when the park was nearly empty. I can’t imagine how bad cell service would be when it had other people using the same towers.

We were told prior to checking into this campground that they had Wi-Fi service. We were very specific asking about their Wi-Fi service since we depend on a net work one day a week. We arrived and not only did they have ABSOLUTELY ZERO Wi-Fi, the cellular phone service was horrible. Therefore we had no connectivity with our cellular router or our Verizon/T-Mobile jet pack. We spoke to several of the seasonal RV’s that were there, and they told us they have been complaining about the lack of services to the new owners for a long, long time with no resolution. I would not recommend this location if you depend on available Internet of any kind other than star link.
