Digby Campground

The park was easy to find. It is located on highway 101 just on the outskirts of Digby. There is pavement all the way. Signage is adequate. Check in was efficient and friendly. The rules are fairly basic. The interior roads are paved and in good condition.

Our site, 33, was a back in that was just long enough for our Coach and Towed. Services (30 amp, water and sewer) were to the left side. Distancing is not bad in the upper sites (32 and up) but very close for most others. End sites are more spacious. Each site has a table but NO fire pit. Our site was flat and even. Overall the park was very well manicured and quiet. The owners show great pride in everything they do. If you use a table top grill, the operators will supply a protective cover to keep their tables from being damaged. There is a communal fire pit located on a communal patio that overlooks a fountain in their pond.

The park included wifi is adequate for email and light browsing. There is no cable nor were we able pick up any OTA TV. Satellite should not be difficult. We did not use the washrooms or showers but we checked and found them to be clean and modern as was the laundromat.

There is a trail beside the park that will take you to the Digby’s Waterfront in about 10 minutes.
There you will find restaurants and stores. Just a short drive away you can find groceries stores. We found this park to be a great base to use while visiting the local attractions. We paid $43.50per night and we feel we received very good value. We would be back if in the area again.

Although we arrived just after hours, Deborah, the owner came and assisted our entrance. The campground has new owners for about a year and obviously owned with love. The common areas are nicely kept, especially the laundry & shower facility. There is a walking path to town from the property that is well maintained and convenient to use. Wifi was satisfactory. We did have electrical issues that were related to lower than expected voltage at the pole, being worked on in another area. It didn’t trip our Progressive EMS but did cause intermittent outage in our RV for a day.

Fabulous, Clean and Quiet. Owners are lovely. Community fire pit brings people together in a smoke free fire pit. Laundry and restrooms are spotless.
I would highly recommend.
