This is a large campground spread over a very large forested area. They have sites in multiple service levels and offer some pull through sites, but all sites seem to be spacious with plenty of space and privacy. Sites are all gravel and appear level. Ours was large and level and a short distance to the shower house and covered kitchen. Pedestal has 15 and 30 Amp connections. Firewood is supplied (add in charge to discourage bringing in firewood - Camp Fire Permit $13.45 per day). There are plenty of hiking trails and biking trails including a mountain bike pump track. Campground staff were very helpful and accommodating. Our site had electric ad water for $28.75 CAD per day.

Chignecto North Camp ground.
This is a Canadian National Park Campground. It has some 290 sites ranging from tent to RV sites some with both water & 30 amp power & hook up. It is close to the beach & the town of Alma with many walking trails throughout the park. The sites are very spacious and quite private and on the weekend & national holidays pre booking would be advised. They do supply internet which is only available at the entrance area but if you head to the visitor center you can sit there in comfort and connect to the internet there. The Campground has toilets scattered around the camp, kitchen areas, shower blocks & laundry facilities and the cost is $1.50ca for the washing machine & $1.50ca for the dryer.
I took 1 star off as it is tight to back in to.
The National Park Service has many activities so check with them at the visitors office in town.

This is one of our favorite places in all of Eastern Canada! Fundy National Park has several campgrounds, but we usually stay at Chignecto North. Over the past 6 years, we've camped here probably 15 times, staying several nights at a time. Sometimes we're dry camping, sometimes we have full 3 way sites. Can you tell we love it here??
This is a huge campground with several hundred sites, and as you'd expect can handle everything from small tents to the largest of RVs. Despite having so many campsites, you almost never feel crowded due to the large sites and the fact that the sites are quite well separated.
Most sites are beautiful wooded sites with plenty of room.
Fundy National Park is a jewel on the east coast of Canada. Whatever you like to do, you can do it here! Day hiking, back country back packing, rustic cottages, kayaking, mountain biking to just name a few things. Don't forget about winter activities too!
FNP is next to the small fishing village of Alma NB, where you can observe the highest tides in the world! Lots of great little restaurants and shops. Don't miss the Holy Whale brewery and make sure to get some fresh lobster for a lobster boil in your camp site!
Fundy National Park has it all!

Great location within Fundy National Park. Great place to drive our motorcycle. Sites are very private/wooded. But not all level. If they leveled the sites they’d be perfect. We had water and electric. There is a dump on site. Had good cell phone and a couple TV channels.

Stayed two nights at the end if August, our first time to New Brunswick and we are in love with this beautiful Province!
Chignecto has nice sites, our's was nicely situated in the woods with good privacy. The group of loud 20-somethings on one side were the only downside. They were there one night then gone the next. Wondered if they got booted out as no one occupied their site the next night.
The restrooms close to our site 99 were ok, clean. Push button shower water was extremely hot and there was no way to control the temp. 3 seconds of water, scrub, rinse, repeat. I'm not complaining, at least there were showers and there was no extra charge to use them.
Laundry room was clean, but washer was out of order.
Dump station had three dumps. Super nice for this large of a campground.
There's a gravel biking / walking trail that circles the campground, and a large playground.
Many places to visit within 45 minutes of this campground. Town of Alma you're into souvenir shopping, dining, Bay Of Fundy, Cape Enrage Lighthouse, many trails and areas to explore. Two days was not enough!

The facility is beautiful. The sites are well buffered and nicely shaded. The bathhouses looked brand new with lots of water pressure and super clean.
The drive through the park provides awesome views and hanging around Hopewell Rocks is a great experience (especially at low tide). Plenty to do and we will certainly be back on our next tour of the NE.
