“enjoy a hike through the rugged forested”

Enjoy a hike through the rugged forested trails and explore the natural limestone caves where some of the movie Quest for Fire was filmed, but come prepared with GOOD hiking shoes with a good tread, as the rocks may be moist and slippery. You will also need a flashlight for some parts of the caves. Binoculars will be a good idea to get a better view from the trail above the caves affords breathtaking views about 300 feet above the sparkling waters of Georgian Bay. Very important also is to have comfortable clothing when climbing around the caves. The entrance road to Greig’s Caves is on the North side, across from the corner of Tower Road, we are 4.82 km from County Road 9.

The hiking portion is not easy, but the caves make the entire trek worthwhile. We saw a porcupine in one cave! The cave are incredible. Cold, wet, dark, and beautifully astounding. WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE!!!
