This campground has had many owners. I think the new owners are trying to “spruce” it up a bit and seem very friendly. Property is nice but everything a little run down. We wanted something outside of the national park as there was little available and nothing with full hookups to stay for 5 or 6 days in the park. This park did the trick for us. There are a few long term people but not too run down or scary because of them, Roomy, shady spots and many pull thrus with full hookups. We are 36 ft with 4 slides and a tow car too. We were happy here.
Stayed here late-Aug 2024

The campground was fine. Some of the spots were really tight, and some were big. The one we had was big, but it was strange to get into and out of. The noise from the highway was very noisy. So if you are a light sleeper, I would not recommend this place

This campground is just off the highway but the noise is no to bad. You can hear it. It’s an old KOA and they seem to be upgrading it a bit. Close to Golden if your looking for that. We stayed one night as we travelled and was good for that. No real amenities and I would not stay a week. Services we good. Cell is full bars on Rogers. Our Starlink worked even with the trees.

The owner started to perform a loud amplified concert on Saturday night. It had not been announced and it was broadcast throughout the park. When we complained, he kicked us out. Fortunately, we found another much nicer park fairly quickly. But I was shocked that he would be so presumptuous as to impose his musical taste and execution on the entire campground.
