Golden Municipal Campground

Surrounded by beautiful scenery (snowy mountains, blue blue river). Very friendly staff, which were very helpful and accommodating. Campsite, washrooms, showers were all clean. Campsite was a good size with a picnic table and in ground fire pit. They warn you a bunch about the trains but was not bad at all. Can walk into town to restaurants/bars. Would recommend for single night stay or multiple nights!

Nice staff good bathrooms convenient place to stop for the night and with staff working late to accommodate my 1030pm check in. Only downfall was the trains at night for a tent camper, my pup and I didn’t sleep great because of the noise.
