Cityview Dog Park

Fredericton's first off-leash Dog Park is located on Cityview Avenue, off of Main Street on Fredericton's Northside. This completely fenced-in facility is situated on 3/4 of an acre and is easily accessible by car or from the walking trail. A separate area for large and small dogs ensures fun for all and benches and garbage cans are available year-round on site. Recent upgrades to the dog park have included the installation of a sun shelter (sponsored by the Main Street Veterinary Hospital) as well as dusk-to-dawn lighting that allows use later into the evenings during the winter months. Users are reminded to read the posted rules before use and to remember to please "pick up" after their dog to ensure a clean facility.
