“A Giant Canadian Coin”
The toonie is 27’ tall and 18' in diamter and was erected in recognition of Campbellford artist Brent Townsend who designed the polar bear that was used on the coin.
A fun little stop in order to see this giant Toonie. It’s a clean, nice park and you can even enjoy a nice walk along the canal.
Only thing missing is some additional information on WHY the Toonie Monument is in that park. Or did I miss that?
If you are in Campbellford stop and see it. There is a visitor's center right there. But don't drive out of your way for this. However once here get donuts at Doheer's and walk the suspension bridge for sure.
