“one of Alberta's first provincial parks”
Aspen Beach is one of Alberta's first provincial parks. Its wide sand beaches and warm shallow water are ideal for paddling, sunbathing and swimming. The park may be closed for several weeks in spring due to soft roads and washouts that require drying and repair. Established in 1932, Aspen Beach Provincial Park is the first provincial Park to be established. The park with 2.14km2 area is a manicured landscape that provides camping facilities and beach access.
