Riverview Hospital (Coquitlam)

Riverview Hospital was a Canadian mental health facility located in Coquitlam, British Columbia, operating under the governance of BC Mental Health & Addiction Services. It closed in July 2012. Many Riverview Hospital buildings, especially the Crease Clinic & Kitchen, East Lawn, West Lawn, and North Lawn buildings, are used extensively for movie and television production. The Hillside building started being used for filming in early 2012 and the Valleyview Pavilion building in late August 2012. Not including movie studios, Riverview Hospital's grounds are the most filmed at site in all of Canada. Productions include The X Files, Elf, Psych, Battlestar Galactica, Once Upon A Time, The Killing, Fringe, Arrow, Smallville, Happy Gilmore and countless others.
