Sawmill Point Recreation Site

Access road on the west side off the Cassiar highway 37 is easy to miss as it is between 2 blind corners and marked with a small brown sign. Open forest setting campsites with gravel footing, picnic tables and fire rings. Outhouses in the campground. Big rig parking available if you go 200 m down the access road and pull into the landing on the right.

Fire band in effect at the time of photos as there was a fire across the lake at Telegraph Creek – smoke can be seen in photos.

No iron ranger – seems it was free. No noticeable road noise as the campground is lower and set back from the highway.
