The road to get here goes through some pastures and our first night was a lot of washboard. They graded the road during our second day, and it was much nicer after that. While they don’t have potable water, we were told that the hosts and a lot of guests drink the well water. So make sure to bring your own drinking water if you need it. The pit toilets were very clean, and there is a solar shower if you are set up for that. The sites were nice, but there was barely any privacy between some of them. The lake itself is beautiful. There is not really a beach, but the dock goes across the lake to create a swimming area and provide some seating.

I hear the lake is lovely, but we were just looking for a quick night on the journey home. The road to the campground is only a few km, but washboarded road surface makes it take about 30 minutes. Sites are very close together, seemed like a fun family spot to play in the lake, but was not a quiet, wilderness retreat.
