Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on September 20, 2022We thought about staying here. We pulled into the park and was greeted by a friendly host. He suggested for a rig 30’ and over to try sites 70 and up.
First, the sites are small. It would be a challenge finding a site for us.
Secondly, this is a heavily wooded campground. Very little light gets into the campground.
Mosquitoes- oh good golly! Opened the door of the truck and within minutes they were swarming inside the cab. Heavily wooded, dark and near water - perfect for mosquitoes.

The campground was beautiful, but right off the highway. It won’t too noisy if you don’t park right on the road side. It was very hilly so it was difficult to pick a leveling site, but we found one. It was nicely wooded. Flush toilets.

I almost skipped this camp spot based on another review. It is late September and no one is here. We found a great spot where we didn’t have to unhook our 50+rig and it was level. Hauling trailer with big truck. We found a campsite with a grassy field for the dogs that handled a nice round of fetching. It is conveniently off the 97 the trade off is that there is a bit of road noise but very doable. The sites are all in the trees with big picnic table that are well maintained and fire rings. Also a nice privacy buffer between the sites. I walked the park and saw other sites that could handle larger rigs just no pull thrus. The entire park looks pristine. If you need a nice spot after a long day on the road this will do nicely.

Some spaces are a bit small but overall for the money you can’t beat it. Short bike to lake. A bit of traffic noise but not terrible

We stayed just one night and had no problem getting a site. It is located right off the highway. We selected a site that was not near the road and the noise wasn't too bad. There were mosquitos but they were not too terrible.
The camp host comes around and collects the fees. Sites were very clean. Flush toilets, or if you prefer there were pit toilets too. Many sites could easily handle a big rig. Not all sites were level. There is a path and tunnel under the highway to the lake that has a boat launch and picnic tables. Dump station available for a $5 fee, although it was unlocked when we were there.

We were very impressed with how well maintained this park is. Fire pits emptied, gravel raked, clean table and a great camp!

Another great provincial park campground. We came through mid September and had no trouble getting a site for 2 nights. If you’re more towards the back of the campground away from the road it’s quieter, some sites are right on the highway. A nice trail out the back of camp is about a 20 min walk that the dog had a nice time on. There is a tunnel to walk under the highway to the lake where the dog got in a nice swim. Not a whole lot to do here but it was a nice spot for 2 nights. Had no trouble finding a good site for our 32’ fifth wheel. Dump site available for a fee (if you’re headed south there is a free dump and fill at 100 mile).
