Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on June 23, 2023We stayed here on our way up the Alaska Highway. Opted for this since it was a little further from the highway than the other option. Spots were fairly well spaced, especially towards the beginning- the ones right on the lake were fairly close to neighbors. There are two spots down at the boat launch too, would be good for big rigs.
We had no trouble navigating the loop with our 32’ fifth wheel, however the loop is only a one lane wide road and we weren’t able to back into the spot we picked out successfully between the angle of the spot, only one lane of road, and drainage ditches on both sides of the road. However we were easily able to pick a different spot where the road is 1.5 lanes wide and we could pull into another spot on the other side of the road and then back into our spot. So a little caution if you’re too much larger than 32’.
No nighttime noise other than ppl coming in late. A good amount of FCFS spots. Most spots are fairly level side to side but some have considerable downward slope. A few water spigots throughout and pit toilets. Nice playground for littles. Blue green algae in the lake, so no swimming for the dog. Nice trail system at the entrance, hiking and mountain biking in the summer. $20 CAD/night
