Only a few full-service sites, but they do take reservations. It's quite pretty, has a river for fishing and swimming, is very rural, and is less than one mile to almost anywhere in Courtenay. The office is somewhat disorganized, and there are some funky RVs on some sites, but in general it's really clean and attractive. In this part of BC, it's hard to find RV spots that are in open non-treed areas, so this is great in all but the hottest weather. September is ideal, but phone ahead because that's salmon fishing season. You can see the 3' salmon swimming up the river.

After 13 years of full time RVing around Canada and the USA we have settled here. The 30/50 amp full service sites are huge accommodating any size RV. Located on the Puntledge River for fishing, swimming, tubing or kayaking. Sid Williams Theatre, Museum, Gladstone Brewery, and old downtown within a 15 minute walk. All major shopping within a 10 minute drive. Nearby activities include the River Walk, hiking at Nymph Falls, Seal Bay, Mount Washington for hiking, mountain biking, zip line, or skiing, beach days at Goose Spit and Kye Bay. Under the new management additional sites are being added as well as future plans for a pool, clubhouse and additional laundry facilities. Staff are great.
