Day 1 of a 10 day road trip and we couldn’t have been happier!
We found everyone very friendly and the set up was easy because the lot was level and lot #18 wasn’t to close to the others.
We met some very fun people at the river with music and enjoying our dogs together.
I would recommend this rv location!

Arrived mid afternoon and requested a river front. Lots of avails. Spot given was extremely close to neighbour and needed extension to reach electric. Asked for a different spot and the host was very unhelpful and belittling- must of been having a bad day! Ended on highway side. The signage for spots was very confusing. The electrics need some serious maintenance as do the water hookups. The set up for the sole sanidump is very peculiar. There appears to be a whole section for full timers. The highway sounds is very very loud and unfortunately there was some constant construction noise across the river. The location is lovely but the packing into tiny spots and having a host that has no interest in being helpful, very off putting. For one night it’s okay but wouldn’t want to be there any longer.

Jack was great, actually booked for the following week but no problem, lucky there was room. Our maiden voyage. Jack was so nice, came to help us when we had problems with the awning. Not noisy at night as campground below highway, didn’t keep us awake. Site, bathrooms and showers clean and updated.

The park was easy to find. It is located just east of the town site right beside highway 3 . There is pavement all the way including in the park. Signage is adequate. Check in was efficient and friendly. The rules are fairly basic. The interior roads are big rig friendly. We booked this park for four days so we could visit the local attractions. We left early even though we had paid in full for all four days! Didn’t ask for a refund as their policy states it is not possible.
Our site, 62, was a pea graveled back in that was just long enough for our Coach and Towed. Services (30 amp and water only) were very inconveniently located on the right side and in order to use our site properly we had to use our 30 amp extension cord. We didn’t bother hooking up water as there was a boil water advisory that included 90% of the town. We were not going to contaminate our system. Further, we were not notified of the water problem until our arrival thus we did not arrive with a full tank of fresh water. Distancing is terrible for a rural park. Slide to awning for most. Each site has a table and a fire pit and our neighbors fire pit was just a few feet from our coach. Had our neighbor built a fire, our left rear corner would have been scorched even with just a small one. Our site was very un-level. Both front wheels were off of the ground Overall the park was a disaster.
The park included wifi worked well enough for light browsing. We had three bars of 5G on our hot spot. There is no cable TV nor were we able to find any OTA channels. Satellite might be difficult. We did not use the washrooms or showers but we checked and found them small and no privacy for showering.
There is a playground for children and a few games for adults but zero else for entertainment. There are no restaurants or stores within easy walking distance but just a short drive away you can find food, shopping and convenience stores. We found this park to be a poor excuse even for an overnighter. The only saving grace was the Camp Host He worked very hard keeping up appearances. We paid just over $62.00 per night (inc weekend surcharge and taxes) and we feel we were ripped off!. We will never be back if in the area again.
