Kettle River RV Park

The park was easy to find. It is located right off of highway 3 about 10 K east of the little settlement of Rock Creek. There is pavement all the way. Signage is adequate. Check in was efficient and friendly. The rules are fairly basic. The interior roads are gravel and pavement and in good condition.

Our site, 24, was a pull through that was plenty long enough for our Coach and Towed. Services (30/50 amp, water and sewer only) were to the left side. Distancing is close for a rural park. Some sites had a vegetation privacy barrier. Each site has a table but NO fire pit. Our site was flat and even. Overall the park was nicely groomed and pleasant to look at.

The park included wifi worked well for light browsing. There is NO cable TV. We did not find any OTA channels. Satellite might be difficult in some sites. We did not use the washrooms or showers but we checked and found them very clean and modern as was the laundry. The office sells ice and other merchandise but no groceries as such. Be sure to stock up on supplies before arriving as the stores is Rock Creek set their prices at a premium.

There is good access to the gently flowing Kettle River. Perfect for Kayaking/Canoeing or just wading in the shallows. Not far from Rock Creek is the Kettle Valley Rail Trail perfect for hiking or biking.

There are no restaurants or stores within easy walking distance but just a short drive away you can find food, shopping and convenience stores in Rock Creek. We found this park to be a great place to relax and enjoy the quietness. We paid $60.00 (plus tax) per night and we feel we received fair value. We will be back if in the area again.
