The park was easy to find. It is located Just off of the Trans Canada .Highway (Highway one) west of Golden BC There is no pavement once you leave the hiway but the access road as well as the interior roads are in good condition,. Signage is adequate. Check in was efficient and friendly. The rules are fairly basic.
Our site, 50, was a grass based pull through that was just plenty long enough for our Coach and Towed. Services (30 amp, water and sewer only) were to the left side. Distancing is very close for a rural park. Some sites had a vegetation privacy barrier. Each site has a small table and a fire pit. Our site was flat and even. Overall the park was sterile. In time when the vegetation matures it will look nicer. .
The park included wifi is basic there is NO cable TV. We did not look for any OTA channels. Satellite should not be difficult. We did not use the washrooms or showers but we checked and found them clean.
There are no restaurants or stores within easy walking distance but Golden a about a 20 minute drive away where you can find food, shopping and convenience stores. Restaurants etc There is a small camp store on site.We found this park to be an okay overnighter. We paid $57.70 (plus a $3.00 surcharge for using a credit card.) per night and we feel we received fair value. We will be back if in the area again.

End of July 2019... hardly any mosquitoes. Extremely friendly staff, very fast and easy check in even if we were at the last minute.
It’s an older small campground but everything was clean and convenient. Sites are not that big but nice grass and trees.
If we did not have plans we would have stayed a week at this quiet and peaceful campground.

Stayed here for an overnight. Very friendly place BUT ... the sites are of dramatically varying size. Ours was so skinny that with the slides out (we have them on both sides) our neighbour to the drivers side could not have extended his awning or would have contacted our rig; on the passenger side we could not use our sites fire pit as the slide was literally within two feet. Fortunately we had no neighbour on the passenger side so we used that site to relax for the evening.
Washrooms and showers are old but clean, no complaints.
Half the park is occupied by seasonal highway/ forestry workers. All we met were very friendly and quiet.

We were staying at Waitabit Creek nearby when a neighbor told us about this campground. We stopped in on a wonderful sunny day. The campground is very well laid out. All the sites are grass. Most all are open to the sky. Access is great, right off Highway 1. There is a large grass field for playing and relaxing.
They have full service sites and dry camping. Full service for $52 includes 30A, sewer and water. Dry camping is $38 but includes dump and potable water; they let you use an empty campsite for these services. If you pull in off the road and need to dump and get water, it’s $10 for both. The host was very friendly.
In contrast to the last review from 2019, the sites are close but separated sufficiently for two-sided slideouts and awnings. Most all the sites are pull-through. Views to the surrounding mountains are exceptional.
We saw several STARLINK dishes around the campground but there’s good cell service, 2 Bars 5G. WIFI is included, but we didn’t try it. The laundry room is very nice with what appeared to be newer machines, four top loading washers and four large dryers. We didn’t check out the washrooms.
