Rustic and quiet.almost like a provincial park but with water and power at the sites and a sani dump. Hot showers for $5 and flush toilets! Great deal and spectacular view.

we only planned on one night...like most people we were just planning on blowing thru the Cassiar Highway on the way to Alaska...but we were tired and just happened to find this little slice of heaven on Eddontenajon Lake. Cozy treed campground on the lake with power/water at sites and a sani dump. 15 amp on the lake and 30 amp on the inner circle. No wifi or sat tv but we really enjoyed being unplugged and listening to the wind and birds and watching the view. The owner has been here 20 years and while things are rustic you can see all the work that has gone into this place and he is an interesting character to meet.
they have 3 friendly dogs that run free and our dogs have never been happier on the road...they were off leash for the first time in months and were very sad to leave!
They offer coffee in the lodge in the mornings and it was fun to meet some of the other travelers over coffee and share stories and info.
Very friendly place!

On the Cassiar the way to go is PPs. But we needed electric to do some laundry. Red Goat is right on the lake. It’s a fairly steep, but manageable road into the campground. We’re pulling a 42ft 5th wheel and there were only a couple of sites that were big rig friendly and those had water standing in them from the recent rains. Since there were no other RVs in the campground (end of season on a weekday) we wedged into a spot for the night. The views are amazing with the lake, Loon mountain, and the fall colors. This place could use some TLC as there are a handful of delapidated RV trailers scattered throughout the campground along with some other “junk”. If you’re in a smaller rig or tent camping this would be a great spot. Diesel/gas/some groceries about 2 miles away.

We needed an unscheduled night in this area and lucked out. Basic hookups - water and 15 amp. Site was pretty sloped. People very nice. Beautiful lake, but we didn't have much time.

There are several sites right on the lake. We have a 30 ft fifth wheel and stayed in site 6 with fantastic lake views. The lake had no motor boats while we were there. The lake and campground were quiet and serene. The campground is more trees than usual for a private campground. We loved it there.

Amazing place , you can see all the pictures. I would probably stay again. The place is well worth the price but also feels. Like it could be more. The staff is great the views spectacular and we enjoyed the site. Price was $50canadian with wifi. 45 without. The WiFi doesn’t hit all the sites but you can go to the lodge. They were straightforward about that. They said $6 for showers the door said $5. Based on the price and rustic nature of the bathroom we passed on the showers.
If you have a self contained rig it’s wonderful. If you are relying on the bathrooms. Just look to the picture I provided so you know what you are getting.
Rustic is the key word. Was it horrible ? No. I was just there to poop. I just had expected more
Overall I loved the stay but it may not be for everyone
