Overpriced and Under Equipped.
We were surprised to find our lodge room was lacking a fridge or any type of tea or coffee making facilities. The beds were comfortable but there was no top sheet so on a hot night it was the duvet or nothing and there is no air conditioning. The room was clean but the bathroom was tiny with no basin. We expected much more for what we paid. Guests are unable to use the dining room during the day so you can't sit out on the balcony to eat your very expensive take away lunch. $23 for a burger!! There are no tea or coffee facilities at all and you can't get a drink either unless you have dinner which is a set price of nearly $70 a head for a fairly ordinary meal and there is no adjustment to the price if you don't want all three courses. Gas is the most expensive we encountered. To add insult to injury there was a huge noisy excavator working on a building site on Sunday evening until quite late in the day meaning we had to shut our balcony door on a hot afternoon and not enjoy the glimpse of the lake. We even got abused by the grumpy old guy who was picking up trash in the car park for parking our car at the front of the lodge where we were told to park it. Told us we we're too lazy to park on the other side. Bit rich given he was riding around on a 4 wheeler. Up side was that the staff were friendly but this place is way overpriced and definitely not recommended.

Folks, if it’s a pretty day/night and you’re looking for the place with the million dollar views, don’t pass this place up! Absolutely stunning views of the lake and mountains. RV Park (RV7) was just a gravel pull through and rather tight to get into, but was fine once setup. Lodge was very busy, and seemed a bit understaffed but the ones there were friendly and helpful. Food was delicious from the restaurant, highly recommend the schnitzel sandwich. Price was about $90 for a FHU

We had a great stay / pit stop on our way to Alaska. Originally the plan was for 1 night, but extended to 2 after we checked in. Sites 1-4 are the best, the rest are closer to the generator and much closer together. Starlink worked pretty well and the lake was fun to take a dip in. Showers were $1 for 4 min and the lodge did offer food but we never tried it as it seemed a tad expensive for what it was. Bathrooms were very clean. There is 1 washer and 1 dry on site $3 each.
