This campground is part of Canada's National Park system. To stay here, you must also purchase a day pass (annual passes for all Canadian National Parks are available, compare to America the Beautiful passes) which also provides day use access to the beaches, trails and visitor centre in the National Park.
This campground is generally booked up all the time. We were able to snag sites without a reservation on weeknights in October but not for the thanksgiving long weekend (no surprise there). Reserve in advance online ($11 additional reservation fee) if you want to be sure to get a spot.
Great location along the highway between Tofino and Ucluelet, closer to pricier Tofino. Beautiful new comfort stations with showers, though the hot water wasn't working at one of them while we were there.
Sites 41-47 are considered less desirable as they are quite close and within view of the highway. Having said that, we weren't smoked out when we stayed at site 41 the first night. The second night we were deep in the forest at site 65 and the campfire smoke was thick and choking. Given the choice, I would take highway noise over smoke. But that's just me.
Dump station is located just before the gate but is only for campers. Very poorly graded, the ground slopes the wrong way for your tanks to drain out. Sigh. Line up as close as possible and/or drive up on blocks on the off side to tilt your rig to drain. There is a separate fresh water fill at the dump plus water spigots located throughout the campground.

This campground is located almost half-way between Tofino and Ucluelet so an ideal location. The park rangers are friendly and helpful. All sites are large and well treed; the only ones that may have any type of issue at all are 4 that are closer to the highway and may be a bit noisy. Several sites are on the cliff on the oceanside; we were across the street so could still hear the surf yet avoided the wind.
Firewood must be purchased on site ($9 per bundle with discount for multiple bundles).
There are 3 newer washroom/shower buildings scattered around the campground. 2 pathways lead down to Long Beach.
I would definitely camp here again when and if we can; reservations are required.

Pacific Rim National Park is excellent and the campground at Green Point is excellent. The spaces are spaced far enough for privacy with the main campground road paved. If you can, try to reserve a site overlooking the Pacific Ocean, we did and it was fantastic! The other sites are well shaded and large enough for most trailers and camper vans. The restrooms and showers are practically brand new, very clean and well maintained. Bonus: the showers have hot water and are free. There are evening Ranger talks that are fun and informative.

We have stayed at 100’s of campgrounds in Canada and US, this is by far the best we have stayed at. Campsites are private and surrounded by thick rainforest. (Also have power at site). The beautiful ocean with large waves awaits you near the campground as well.
