Wow, what a great find. Eight sights just off the highway. Looks like the energy company does some maintenance.
There is trash and recycling bins at the campground.
We had plenty of room at our back in site to stay hooked up.
The only reason for not giving it 5 stars (for a free site) is zero cell service even with a booster.
No water and no dump.

Checked in via pay station. Used to be free but now costs $25/night for primitive camping and pit toilets. Picnic tables and fire rings at each gravel site. Signs indicating bear in area posted at entrance.

This was a nice spot to stay the night on our way north to Alaska, however it’s probably worth about $10, not the $25 they’re asking… we had the place to ourselves, was easy to park our 32’ fifth wheel. Some road noise, we didn’t explore the area. Glad we stopped here, there wasn’t much after on our way to Grand Prairie- lots of truck traffic in the morning on our way out.
