Very quiet camping close to the Icefield. No service. Dump station and water. No reservation. View on the mountains. 25' and less. Clean, secluded. Great place to stay between Jasper and Banff

A high pass campground so even in late June it is very cold at night. The lower campsites have great views across the high mountainous country. The whole campground feels remote even though there is a massive tourist attraction/hotel about a mile down the road. No cell-coverage to be found in this area of the world. Nearest towns are about an hours drive in either direction.

In the forest near the Columbia Icefields. You have to make your way through the crowded Wilcox Pass trailhead parking to get to the CG. The roads are narrow and a little steep in places, better for shorter rigs. Some views of the mountains, depending on what site you're in. Some of the sites seem like little more than a pull-off from the road but others are nice. First-come, first-serve so it's best to get there earlier in the day to find a place. Has fire ring, picnic table. Vault toilets. Near the Icefields but the nearest towns (Lake Louise to the south, Jasper to the north) are maybe an hour away.

We didn’t stay here (we stayed at Columbia Icefield 7min away) but it had very cute and cozy spots with fire pits. We also saw a couple restrooms.

We came here to dump and fill our tanks with drinking water (free). It is a tight and windy road, so if your RV is bigger than 25-26ft, you won’t be able to make the sharp turns.

We drove through all of the first come first serve camp grounds between the Ice Fields and Jasper. This is the
best one in the area. The sites are level. Sites 1-7 are in the sun and have great views of the Canadian Rockies. The sign for campground says less than 25 ft for campers. There are about 10 sites that will accommodate big rigs. There were a couple class A's and large 5th wheels in the park during our stay. There Wilcox pass trail head is .5 mile from the campground. We had Verizon service if we walked down to the information booth for the campground. There is a pay phone next to the firewood when you drive in.The downside.. There are alot of tourist at the Ice Fields in July & August looking for a campstie. Show up early as the campground was full almost every night. There is overflow area at the Ice Fields about two miles away. You are in a large parking lot with great views of the Glaciers. The road through the camp ground is paved, but has a lot of pot holes. There is water ad dump station as you exit the campground
