Under 8 Flags Campground

We arrived at this park in the afternoon on a Saturday. There are dry camp spaces $20,power and water $25 or full hookups $30. There’s also a dump station. The sign says to deposit your money in the lockbox with the envelopes, so self service. However a few hours after we arrived and it was pouring rain someone knocked on our door and said they had reservations for our spot. They had a confirmation on their phone so we started unhooking to move even though we had also paid for that spot. Then they started talking to some men who were part time residents and they moved to another spot that had a sewer connection, ours did not.. So apparently their reservation system needs some work. The connections were all 30 amps, not 20 as advertised. They have showers although I didn’t use them. It’s a nice place with trees, grass and next to a river on one side and golf course on the other. I would stay again but a little Leary of being guaranteed a spot.
