Or head north: KOA is 1 km west of Highway 40, the scenic route to Alaska. This KOA was voted one of the "Top 50 Scenic Views" by ReserveAmerica. In lieu of individual firepits, we offer one central firepit pavilion where you can enjoy the fire while you meet and share your experiences with campers from around the world.

This is a nice KOA. Gravel sites, picnic table and full 50 amp hook ups.
They have a couple of small laundry rooms ($3.00 wash and $2.00 Canadian to Dry).
There is WiFi but pretty slow. We were able to use both our ATT and Verizon.
Site rate above was converted to US dollars.
The KOA is 10 minutes to Hinton. Hinton has groceries, gas and propane. The KOA is about an hour to Jasper. Very easy scenic drive.
Even though we pad for a 60 ft pull through site we ended up in a smaller not as nice site. The sewer connection was up hill ( always fun ).
Try to avoid sites 68 - 75. The rest of the sites seem flatter and bigger.

Booked this because we couldn’t get a place in Jasper. Easy check in. Site was gravel with full hookup. Had to park truck sideways in front of our 36ft fifth wheel. Campground offered small dog park area with poop bags, very small playground, laundry room and shower house. Also a grassy field area that was partially mowed to walk dogs and more poop bags available. Only about a 7 min drive to the town of Hinton and 45min to Jasper. Very windy, could not use awning at all.
