Easy access off highway 2, community park within walking distance to the cute town of High River. Very helpful and friendly camp hosts. They planned on a site for us until they saw us pull in and gave us a very long flat pull thru.
Restrooms were clean, park is well cared for and adjacent to the community park along the river.
We had the best Mexican meal at a restaurant downtown. We would definitely return to this campground again.

This park is operated by the local Lions Club. Access to the park is good but the entrance has an archway that could make it tight if another rig was leaving. The roads are paved until you enter the campground then they are gravel/dirt. Signage is adequate. The park was easy to find but you do have to drive through town to get to it.

Check in was quick and easy. Our reservation was confirmed and we were directed to our site (39) which was well marked and easy to find. The site had a spattering of gravel with an area of grass/weeds. This park offers 30 amp only (no water or sewer) and pedestals are haphazardly placed. Ours was to the left centre. Some on are on the right side. We also had a table, fire pit and a wood chopping block. Distance between sites is somewhat close. Not quite slide to awning though. There is NO dog park, off leash area or anything that would suggest that the extra $2.00 per night for a dog is justified. We did not use the washroom/showers but checked a number of times and they were always clean. Satellite might be difficult as the trees are huge and plentiful. We did find 3 OTA channels

We chose this park because it was reasonably close to Calgary but much quieter than those close in. Stores, restaurants and other amenities are within easy walking distance. There is a paved cycle/walking trail that runs along side the park. There is also a lazy river on the other side of the trail that is used to float/raft and paddle in during the summer months. Urban noise was hardly detected during our week long stay. The park could have been cleaner. We notice a lot of small litter everywhere during our dog walks. We were warned not to leave any coolers out at night as local teens will steel them looking for booze.

We paid $37.00 per night which included the additional for the dog. There is a $5.00 one time reservation fee. We doubt if we would return again. There are nicer parks in the same price range around.

Quick and easy spot. The town was really cute. Great breakfast/coffee spot. Camp hosts were friendly and responsive. Water and dump on site, but not at individual sites. WiFi is available, but we used our Starlink. Great local park and trails adjacent for walks. It was a popular place, but not too loud. They took the top of the arches off the entrance, so no problem with height access. Overall, very pleasant overnight location.
