Goat lick

Just 15 minutes after Sunwapta Falls is the Goats and Glacier Viewpoint, or what many refer to as the “Goat Lick.” The name comes from the fact that mountain goats are often found here licking the minerals from the cliffside.

Even if you aren't lucky enough to see any goats, some say you'll see amazing views well worth the stop on its own

It is just a small parking lot on the side of the road where the viewpoint is located right on the edge of the parking lot.

Keep your eyes open for it as you won’t find the location on Google Maps.
