Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on September 18, 2018This popular campground provides ready access to attractions in Medicine Hat and surrounding areas. The park is situated on a plateau above the South Saskatchewan River, and is connected to the community's extensive walking and biking trail system. The well spaced, level, gravel and paved sites have various combinations of electricity, water and sewer services at the RV sites, and a dining shelter easily accessible from the unserviced tenting sites.
The campground is easily accessible from either Highway 1 or Highway 3, and is well marked. We enjoyed walking the historic downtown area, the butterfly exhibit at Windmill Garden Centre and the MEDALTA Clay Works Museum. Medicine Hat also offers a number RV service facilities if you need services.
Full cellular service available.

The park has lots of trees but the pull throughs ahave tight entrances. Had an accident because of stake in the ground. Ugh!
Sign says " Lock up your coolers and camping stoves and don't leave anything of value outside overnight as there have been thefts."
Beautiful view as you enter but lost in the park.
Wifi is camp wifi...very sketchy...in and out

Rates go down in Sept...then close in Oct. Beautiful fall weather in Medicine hat. 25.00US water and electric. What a deal. Bathrooms are clean. Showers are free. Beautiful trees and grass. This is a city park and very well maintained. Park is almost empty now. Really nice and close to town. Great shopping in Medicine hat..lots of things to see and do.

I love a good public campground, and this one is well run and maintained. Good free showers, clean bathrooms. You could go for miles on the mountain bike trails that go right by the campground. There's a huge dog park across the street that's also well-maintained.
I liked the campground more than the city, although the Moose and Squirrel was a great place to eat.
