Location The Coral Sands Resort is perched on a cliff overlooking the turquoise Atlantic Ocean in the Bahamas. It is situated oceanfront in the heart of serene Harbour Island, just off of North Eleuthera. Restaurants, bars and shops are within walking distance. Dumore Town is also just a short walk away. Rooms The rooms, designed in a British colonial-style, are luxurious and modern, but still comfortable and homely. There are ten different styles of guest rooms, including the Beach House - a luxurious beachfront house, Ocean View suites with private balconies, the Loft - a suite that opens onto a rooftop deck, Garden View rooms with shared outdoor patios, spacious 2-bedroom suites, and private villas. An en suite bathroom, hairdryer, direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, radio, tea/coffee making facilities, ironing set, king-size bed or queen size, individually regulated air conditioning and heating, and either a balcony or terrace come as standard. Sport The hotel offers activities such as tennis, tours through Dunmore Town on foot or by bike, snorkelling, scuba diving, intimate picnics on deserted islands, deep sea fishing, bone fishing and day trips to Spanish Wells and North Eleuthera. The nearby beach comes with sun loungers and parasols. Guests may take advantage of the outdoor swimming pool with beachside bar (subject to fees), sun loungers and parasols.
