Rest area is located next to the highway so it can be noisy. There are four shaded picnic tables and a few bins provided. Two of the picnic tables have shade because of the big boab tree in the middle of the rest area. You can not park right next to it, but you can have lunch or dinner underneath it. You can camp on the side of the gravel road.

Great shady place with picnic tables to stop for lunch. No bins or amenities. Tree is absolutely stunning. Can climb inside it and fit whole family inside. Definitely place for picture stop.
