This is a camping area 17 km S of Many Peaks. Turn SE off South Coast Hwy 3 km SW of Many Peaks or 36 NE of Albany onto Homestead Rd for 9 km then onto Bettys Beach Rd for 5 km. There is a 9km dirt road that is in good shape but corrugated in parts. This area is used as a fishing spot and is Closed 15 Feb- 30 Apr for salmon season. There are some fishing shacks and homes here. There is a public toilet and rubbish bin here. The area is secluded and beautiful but there is a lot of fishing activity so it is not so quiet. Maximum stay: 48 Hours

Stayed at the campsite before bettys beach and discovered this in the morning, it was incredible views directly on the beach, completely protected and you are able to drive in the beach, some campsites in the area have facilities, but some don’t so do your research. Recommend this campsite for views and peace and quite. It’s free too!!!
