Studio 42 is Bendigo's only jewellery specific art gallery exhibiting the work of over 40 independent Australian jewellers and artisans. Join Studio 42 on a journey of mixed metals, diverse techniques, astonishing creativity and unfathomable technical ability. Well established names in the jewellery community stand side by side with emerging artists in a collective display of pride and support for Australian jewellers, artisans and manufacturers all with a passion and commitment to the future of the Australian jewellery industry. Visit the gallery to see the operation of a traditional jewellery manufacturing workshop. Take a tour with the resident designer and gallery director to learn about the artists and techniques used to create the pieces on display, discover the origins of some of the worlds finest precious and semi-precious gems and enjoy educational workshops. Only minutes drive from the Bendigo CBD, Eaglehawk offers plenty of free parking. After your visit to the gallery you can enjoy a coffee at one of the many fabulous local cafes before taking a leisurely stroll through the lush Canterbury gardens and around beautiful Lake Neangar. The Gallery is open to the public with free entry six days a week and most public holidays.
