In 1987 Bob Hardy and Elaine Hardy decided to move from Sandy Bay to the country to establish a fruit farm that would provide a very wide range of fruits that people could pick themselves. In the 30 years since it has become a total Tasmanian fruit experience. The farm sees tens of thousands of visitors each year, who come to pick their own fruit, taste the award winning fruit wines and liqueurs, and buy the jams, sauces and vinegars. There is also a popular cafe with gourmet lunches, as well as tasty snacks and excellent coffee.
